Are you worried about trying to keep the kids occupied during school holidays? Well you are lucky that you live in Melton, there are lots of affordable activities that are currently being held during the school holiday period right in your backyard.

Woodgrove Shopping Centre is hosting a whole range of school holiday activities that may be just right for your kids!

Animal Farm

Parkland Animal Farm will be present from the 26th of June to the 10th of July, running from mid-morning until the late afternoon at the bank of The Bank of Melbourne. If your children love animals then this is just the place to take them! Pet some of your favourite animals or take a ride on a pony at only $4 per entry.

Get Your Skating Shoes on!

Get into the winter spirit by enjoying some ice skating at the synthetic ice skating rink, located directly outside of Big W at $5 per session.

Penguins of Madagascar

There will be special guests entering Woodgrove Shopping Centre, The Penguins of Madagascar!! They will be wandering around from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Amusement Park Fun!

Experience a range of great rides and prizes to win with A & A Amusements. Jump on the Zipper or go around on the carousel, plus heaps of other fun things to do! The Amusement Park is located near the Bunnings Carpark in Melton. Pricing per each ride/game ranges from $4 – $10 per session and is opened from midday until late, 26th of June – 5th of July.

The Melton Library and Learning Hub located at 31 McKenzie Street will also be conducting some fantastic activities to occupy the kids over the school holidays.

Yoga Bugs 1 for ages 2-4 years old

Get the kids involved in a fantastic session of traditional inspired yoga postures whilst they are also encouraged to use their imagination and creativity in the session. It will run from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM on the 1st of July, strictly for ages 2-4 years. Another session following (Yoga Bugs 2) will be held for an older age group, 5-7 years and will take place at 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM on the 1st of July.
