Cobblebank

Cobblebank – Invest in the West.

Cobblebank is a developing suburb situated 31km west of the Melbourne CBD, bound by the Toolern Creek. Cobblebank is located 4km Southeast of central Melton; with the northern area home to Tabcorp Park, a harness racing venue which opened in 2009. The city of Melton is urging for the construction of a 24-hour, full service hospital to be built in Cobblebank, including an emergency department, cardiac and intensive care, acute surgical facilities and diagnostic services. The mayor says that building the hospital will “support our growing community, provide lifelong health care and create jobs, investment and opportunity.” The campaign, ‘Invest in the West’ can be found at http://www.buildmeltonhospital.com.au/.

In 2018 the Melton Council adopted a Master Plan for the Melton Recycling Facility, located in Cobblebank.
