Melton Once again that one day in September had rolled around and we were excited to be involved in the Merrimu Services 2013 Grand Final Lunch and Fund Raising Auction. The day was a huge success, with an incredible turn out of people. There were some fantastic guest speakers for the afternoon such as the legendary Tiger great Tommy Haffey, Carlton great Wayne Harmes and Essendon superstar Dyson Heppel.
But we were all there for one reason and that was to help raise money for the Merrimu services that do great things for those living with disabilities in the community. With the auction underway no item was left behind, items such as signed jerseys from football legends Ron Barrasi and Tommy Haffey, Golfing days with the Essendon Football Club & accommodation at the magnificent Tabcorp Park Hotel.
We had a fantastic day and were glad to be a part of the event again this year and pleased we could help raise some much needed funds for this great community based service.
