Melton 
With Melton’s growing population, brings the need for more infrastructure, planning and development. All it takes is a simple drive around Melton to see that it is all happening in our town!
One of the more exciting developments that has most recently been completed is the Bridge Road Athletics and Hockey Facility. This is located in Bridge Road, Melton South, which is only a short 5 minute drive from the very centre of Melton. It looks to be a fantastic addition to the City of Melton and will certainly be a great facility, which will be host to all kinds of activities but mainly for athletics clubs and hockey clubs in Melton and the outer Western Suburbs.
The grand opening of the Bridge Road Athletics and Hockey Facility will take place next Monday the 27th of June 2016, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. It is sure to be a fantastic, fun filled day for the Melton Community.
Activities to celebrate the opening will include hockey and athletics skills, Cricket Victoria Activities, Sports Buzz, Special Olympics, soccer, face painting, mini golf, roving performers, a jumping castle and plenty more!
Food will also be available as there will be a BBQ, coffee van, popcorn and fruit available. The only thing you must remember to bring is your own water bottle!
