The state government has announced two new bus routes within Melton, to make public transport more easily accessible in the area.

The 444 route will run between the new Rockbank station and Aintree, with services every 40 minutes. The 454 route will run between Melton and the new Cobblebank station, with services every 40 minutes. The 459 route is also being extended, to allow for more stops along the Arnolds Creek line.

Public Transport Minister, Melissa Horne, believes that the services will make it “easier for locals in our growing western suburbs to get where they need to go”. The new routes will make the transport to schools within the suburb much more accessible – helping our suburb to continue blooming.

More information such as timetables will be released closer to the implementation of the new routes.

With the Melton suburb consistently growing, it’s the perfect time to consider buying in the area. If you’re searching for your perfect home, contact Professionals Ryder Real Estate today, on 9743 6400.
